Can you complete the swim in one go?!
The first ever "Iron Man" competition was conceived and held in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii in 1978 and today the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) still holds the World Iron Man Championship in the same location. The race starts in Kailua-Kona bay with a 2.4mile swim, followed by a 112 mile bike ride and a Marathon distance run.
This swim follows the exact route that competitors swim during the World Championships in Hawaii. Can you complete it all in one go? (The bike ride and the run afterwards are optional).
