Rio de Janeiro has some of the world's most iconic land marks and by the end of 2016 the city will be able to look back on a remarkable few years after hosting the 2014 Football World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games.
This swim starts in the North of the city, at the brand new Museo do Amanha (Museum of Tomorrow) and takes you past the Ilas das Cobras (Isle of the Snakes) and the airport, to the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain. From there, you'll swim around the point, past Copacabana Beach the Fort at it's South end, finishing on the beach at Ipanema, where there's a wealth of cocktail bars to choose from!
